Ibanex sc500, what someone called a special instrument that you won't find everywhere, is made in Japan.

A hybrid guitar, its strings are made of nylon and its primarily designed as a classical instrument. The shape of the Ibanex sc500, as well as many of its features, is that of an electrical guitar. It has the more solid body of the latter.

Though modified, its body reminds us of a Saber, created in mahogany with top lamination of spruce. The outline of the Ibanex sc500 body has a binding with three stripes in black. The neck, made up of two pieces of mahogany, is bolted on with a four-screw neck joint that is all access.

The 25-inch length of scale found on the rosewood guitar fingerboard is greater than that of the Strat standard measure but smaller than a Les Paul. The Ibanex sc500 has 22 frets, comparatively small. Its dots, average size are abalone and beautiful. Another two dots of abalone camouflage the screws or boltings that keep the wooden bridge mounted.

The body of the Ibanex guitar sc500 has a high gloss body that is clear coated. The neck and the headstock back have a more matte feel to them. The headstock is slotted, with an Ibanez logo inlaid at the top. The sc500 also displays gold colored tuning pegs mounted on the side that include pretty tortoise like heads.

Six pieze transducers are inside the guitar bridge, translating the strings' vibrations into electric signals. The guitar has a preamp that is powered by batteries, along with a volume pot and a high low equalizer of dual bans. The back of the Ibanez guitar sc500 also has and an extra battery compartment so that you can easily replace its 9-volt battery.
