Perimeter Security with Magal's new YAEL-15 combines the deterrent properties of an actual fence barrier with a highly advanced intrusion detection system. The YAEL-15 security system uses a single, self-balancing analog sensor to monitor all the fence wires installed at a section. The sensor is linked to all the fence wires through a stainless steel collector wire, installed on a sensor post, to which all the fence wires are mechanically clamped.
Microprocessor - Perimeter Security
A displacement of any of the wires during an intrusion attempt causes a change in the tension of the collector wire which is translated by the sensor into an analog signal proportional to the displacement. The signal is analyzed by a microprocessor-based controller to initiate alarms at the control room. The system has a very high sensitivity, yet also has the built in tools to detect false alarms.
Low False Alarm Rate - Perimeter Security
The system is designed to ignore nuisance alarms like dogs, cats, bird, and rabbits. The perimeter security system is also designed to work in all weather conditions and to not be affected by conditions such as ground shifting, snow, ice, and wind. The YAEL-15 Perimeter Security fence averages one false alarm every 3 months per kilometer.
Continuous Perimeter Security
The YAEL-15 Perimeter Security fence will continue to function even if a section is cut or destroyed. The YAEL-15 has a self balancing mechanism which keeps the rest of the fence functional even one or more sections have been damaged. This helps avoid middle of the night maintenance. The perimeter security fill continue to function whenever an intrusion attempt is made by moving, lifting, climbing or cutting any of the detecting wires, the detectors immediately inform the system's central control unit.
Perimeter Security Solution
The YAEL-15 can be installed just about anywhere. The system can be installed on most fence post types including standard angle-iron, pipes or concrete posts of any size. The YAEL-15 can also be installed on preexisting walls and posts of any height. The fence can also be lengthened to meet whatever height is required for complete perimeter
