These problems can openly be discussed by any person that has similar or opposing points of view. The advantage of a Problems Pages forum is that a problem is looked at from many points of view, by many people from both similar and different backgrounds as the individual that posted the problem. This broad response will in theory give the individual a clear idea of how to solve their problem. After-all a problem cannot be answered by an agony aunt that think they know everything, when infact they have no idea of the individual needs and perceptions of the user posting the problem.

Example Problem

My mums boyfriend kept coming on to me and i left home at 17.
A friend of a friend was a prostitute and told me there was good money to be made, so out of desperation, i drifted into sex work.

After 4 years i'd had enough of having sex with men i didn't know or like and got a job in a shop and started to feel normal again.
I met my boyfriend a year ago, and for the first time in my life i had strong feelings for a man.

When he first asked how many other men id been with before him, i lied and said only a few.Recently i foolishly admitted the truth about my pastand it's made him very angry and upset.

Now he's constantly criticising my past mistakes when all i want is for him to love me. What can i do?
